Terrible Company

Was supposed to be delivered 9 days ago. Even paid for faster shipping. Got an email stating it was cancelled so called customer service. They said their normal warehouse was out of stock and it was shipping from another one. The customer service rep said it would be delivered 12/20. Order was place on 12/12 so plenty of time to get it shipped. No tracking number was ever provided even though they said it had been shipped and will arrive. Here I am 9 days past the shipping guarantee and wont be available till January. Order was cancelled on the spot. Will never do business with them again. Terrible place!

STAY FAR AWAY from Hayneedle Products

Purchased 2 Patio Umbrellas from Hayneedle. They Both decomposed withing 6 months. Called and Hayneedle, without any evidence stated they we wind torn. I sent a sample of the material that showed that the fabric that was akin to a canvas crumbled and powdered in your hand. The original GREEN material looked as if it had been manufactured in 1903. After many calls and letters they sent only one replacement umbrella. You guessed it that one powdered away the first season in the same fashion. My guess is that evidently the material was made from utilizing the heavy smog that fills many cities in City and made in a hurry, Chop, Chop! Shop somewhere else and save yourself the aggravation. Hayneedle Products and service Sucks!

Terrible customer service!

Ordered a Power Wheels Dune Racer... the box was ripped and tore all over and partially taped with tape strands hanging off as if some one ripped it open and just left the strands of tape hanging, decided to keep it and put it together, beings it was a Birthday gift for our Grandson, and party was in a few days. So we got it together and it worked fine, except for a bent rod on one front wheel, so we bent it back, okay it works... but it was missing one piece, the little green valve cover. So we contacted Hayneedle, sent pics of the condition we got it in and they assured us they would handle it, 3 weeks later we got an email saying, take it up with the distributor... so I will buy the piece and never do business with this company ever again. Terrible customer service!!!

Review about Tent Purchase Attempt

I tried to order a commercial event tent 4 times from Hayneedle, each time giving a different shipping address because the previous addresses (that actually manage to receive FedEx deliveries just fine) would not pass their recognition program. After the fourth attempt using a my work address, I gave up and purchased the tent some where else. At least I'm not out money.

Shipping damage on2 out of 3 orders

These guys claim to be logistics experts but in reality they are a disaster. I placed an order for a dresser. My hayneedle order was bounced between various shippers for weeks then lost at my "local depot" then finally delivered weeks late. The box was in tatters and had an obvious fork lift hole in it. Dresser was damaged. Similar experience with a damaged table. They don't have much inventory and try to survive by direct shipping big items. A virtual furniture store. Do yourself a favor and don't order furniture from hayneedle. Hopefully word will get out and they will either fire senior management and fix things or go out of business.

Hayneedle has major operating issues

Hayneedle is really messed up. Worst ecommerce transaction ever. My order never was received in over a month waiting. I called 3 times and was told each time I should get it anyday. The shipper stated Hayneedle only partial shipped the order. Hayneedle said they shipped the whole order. Hayneedle was not willing to work with the shipper or send me the product after waiting for 2 months for it. So basically Hayneedle has bad relations with its shippers and the customer gets burned. ITs customer service tells you what you want to hear and can't actually resolve your problem. Wait times when you call in can exceed an hour and don't be put on hold or you'll end up just being dropped. Their Customer service people are rude and some don't speak proper english (slang and ghetto language are not proper for a call center.)

Terrible Shipping and Customer Service

I ordered a outdoor table set. Heyneedle tells me after the order to may take 3 weeks to deliver from NC.

I called the mfg. They rushed the product out of the warehouse to heyneedles trucking company. Now it sits. It has not moved from NC in 2 weeks.

Heyneedle customer service are beside themselves in being able to answer why their trucking is so slow and they do not offer a faster service even at a cost.

Beware of poor customer service because they can not change the decisions that are being made from above and slow delivery. I am still waiting 3 weeks after order with no word.

I returned the wagon to them. I appreciate Hayneedle working with me on this resolution.

I ordered a On the Edge Portable Folding Wagon on April 24th, 2013. My husband and I used it twice for transporting 2 beach chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler.

On the second time the welds on the front axle separated rendering the wagon useless. When I contacted the company via e-mail I was told that it was outside of the 30 day window and therefore could not be exchanged.

I have learned a hard lesson and will no longer shop at a company that will not stand behind the product it distributes. I have also advised my family and friends of my experience.

Tried the company but noone will get back to me!

Pre authorization

i ordered a 3 piece pub set great quality love was on time in shipping but they you used a pre authorizatoin of 340 dollars then they take out 152.68 and then 187.32 that comes to 340 dollars and they said the pre authorizatoin would come off and it did but the bank contacted me and said i had a negative balance of 29.19 cents amazing i was showing a balance of 319 dollars and nobody at heyneedle wants to talk about it what a scam ok i am really i talked to hey needle last night and the guy kept putting me on hold didnt want to talk about

Hayneedle - 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is worth ZERO

Hammocks.com and Hayneedle.com say "100% Satisfaction Guarantee...Other people say it, we mean it." Well, it was my experience that they are like all the other "people." My traveling hammock strap that I only used on two vacations broke right on the seam while someone was on it. Could have cause serious injury!

Granted, it was a three years since I purchased it but Mark M with customer service just said they stopped selling the straps and it was past the 30 day warranty. I am a reasonable person and I realize a lot of time had passed since I purchased the straps and I didn't expect Hayneedle to replace the straps (though, gosh, that sure would have been nice).

I would have been satisfied if they'd offered me a discount on a reorder. Their 100% guarantee sounds nice, but Hayneedle, don't say it, if you don't mean it!

Hayneedle does not offer a standard warranty on products. Rather, warranties are available by suppliers or manufacturers of specific products.

To determine whether the product has a warranty cover, go the product page and scroll down to see whether there is a warranty provision. If there is no warranty segment, then the product does not have a warranty cover otherwise the section will stipulate the terms for the warranty.

Since the warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the supplier, in case you need to make a claim, you will have to get in touch with the supplier or manufacturer’s customer service team. Hayneedle Sells Junk! Stay Away from this Store!

I love these computer generated comments from HayNeedle that they are responding to my disappointment!!! I called and tried to have the problem taken care of and after the one year was up they couldn’t help me anymore!!!!

These Stools started to fall apart from Day ONE!!!!! GARBAGE COMPANY!!!!!!

I bought 3 kitchen stools ( Bellagio Counter Stools) from Hayneedle. I paid over $700 a stool They all broke within 6 months of receiving them. First it was the screws coming loose in every location. Then it was the arms and circular leg supports breaking and after going back and forth with the company, getting new ones, returning broken parts, they wouldn't help me after 366 days of owning the junk that they sold me!!! I had no choice after they wouldn't help me any more other than to take things into my own hands so I went to the local hardware store and purchased the items that I needed to repair the stools!!! Don't do business with this company! The underlining problem is that this store buys its JUNK from China and then sells it to us!

Order Cancelled

I need a pair of binoculars for my upcoming vacation to Yellowstone in September. I ordered a nice pair from HayNeedle.com.

I soon received an email notifying me that my order had been cancelled. I called to inquire, and, was treated like an identity thief. Evidently, there was a "problem" with my billing address. They asked all sorts of security questions, non of which were satisfactory.

"Nope, that's not good enough". I was told that they would put the order though again, and, to check my email for another confirmation (four days later). On the fourth day, I called again. "That order has been cancelled".

Okay, I'll place another order. THIS TIME, I didn't even receive a cancellation notice.

I searched their website for my order status and learned the second order had been cancelled as well. I'm beginning to wonder if HayNeedle is an online identity theft scam.

Scam company

Ordered a sectional sofa - their web site said it was in stock and would ship in 4 days. Received an immediate email saying the shipment would be delayed 4 weeks. Three weeks later and another 4 week delay then after 3 weeks another delay of 4 weeks. Meanwhile they are continue to offer the product on their website with 4 day shipping. Horrible customer service with no effort to explain or resolve just excuse after excuse. This is their standard practice. Don't be fooled by prices, this is a scam "company" that just doesn't care at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Hmmph. I am another "anonymous," and am in the middle of exactly the same kind of situation as the first anonymous describes.

I ordered a product in January and I've just received my second delay notice. In the meantime that product has remained on the Hayneedle site as "in stock" and if I click on the track order link, it STILL shows the original expected delivery date (in mid February -- it's now late March).

I don't know if Robin is sincere, but Hayneedle as a whole seems not to care about honest inventory or delivery information.

If you do a search for reviews, on a site called resellerratings, which I have nothing to do with, you'll find they got a ONE star (out of five) average rating. Non-delivery, poor product quality, and refusal to give refunds are all reasons given.

Defective product that hayneedle will not replace

I purchased a Cinzano Umbrella from Hayneedle in May of 2012. I used it that summer and placed it inside my garage for the winter. In April of 2013 I took the umbrella and noticed several tears in the material. I was decomposing and falling into pieces. I wrote hayseedle and explained what had happened and they said that it was out of warranty and they could do nothing. This was obviously a defective product and I was hoping they would address this but they do not care. They sell junk. Do not buy anything from this company. They are the worst internet company that I have ever dealt with.
