Hayneedle- A scam vendor

I purchased an item from Hayneedle via Walmart.com. I did not need the item (item is still brand-new) and wanted to return. Hayneedle made it extremely hard and never sent me the return label to ship the item back. First, they said it would take 24 hours to send the return label. I did not understand why it took them that long to process the return label. After 24 hours waiting and never received it, I contacted Hayneedle. This time they said it was sent. I checked my mailbox and the spam/junk folder and did not see any label. I contacted them again. This time, they said they would resend the label right away. I waited, and again no return label was provided. I contacted them again, this time they do not respond. The item is only $34. I do not understand why Hayneedle would lie and does not want to take the item back. This is my first time learning about Hayneedle and I would advise all of you to stay away from this vendor. They are horrible. Please do business with Amazon which can save you time and headache.

Got no where with mycommon sense complaint just agraviated and Disgusted I do not have the time or money to pursue this ugly matter ; To it’s end . Spent my money to be happy not sad.

Rugs faded

I ordered 2 outdoor rugs last year. I went to put them out and they have faded so terribly that I can no longer use them. This is the second set of 2 rugs I purchased. I also contacted Hey needle to see if I could do something so that they would not fade prior to putting them out.I received no response...... To be fair I have bought many things from hayneedle , and all of them but for this worked out just fine, I really need new rugs now

I ordered a rug with them and it was lost or returned TWICE

In April of 2019, I ordered a very large and expensive rug (Rug Envy ThunderCloud) with HayNeedle. Because the rug was large, it was shipped through a freight carrier, who contacted me to arrange delivery. When I gave them the address where I wanted the rug delivered, I was told they could not deliver it to that address as it was not the billing address, and advised I call HayNeedle to have them give permission for it to be shipped to my new home. I called, but the rep at Hayneedle said they could not do that. They advised that I refuse delivery from the freight company, then it would be returned, they would credit my card, and I could order it all over again. That took about 10 days, then I did order it again. This second go round, HayNeedle used a different freight company. This freight company actually lost the rug. It was not delivered on the promised day but we got a phone call saying they would find it but so far didnt know where it was in the warehouse. 4 days later, I called them back and they said they had no idea where the rug was. Meanwhile, I've got furniture deliveries backed up because that furniture goes on top of this huge rug. At best at this point, I will get a refund, but so far I am just waiting.

What a piece of *** Holes do not align. Direction were written by someone who prob a bly needs another job. Something real simple. Had to throw it away. I will never order from hayneedle again. What a joke!

Disreputable Company - They have my $$ and I have nothing.

I ordered this couch on 12/12 with a guaranteed delivery date between 12/25 and 1/4. It was shipped on 12/14 and I was sent a tracking number on 12/18 telling me it had shipped on 12/14. I started trying to track down the sofa on 12/24. The tracking number didn't work, and I called the company twice to get information as to where the sofa was at this point. During the phone calls, I was told there was no answer from the shipper (while I was on hold) and that it might be lost. Finally on 12/28, I received an email with a different tracking number saying the sofa was now in California (about 150 miles from my house) and would be delivered by January 4th. On January 4th, I got another email stating "it seems that you can expect a call to set up delivery by 01/10/19 at the latest" They acknowledged that "This item has experienced various backorder delays, unfortunately". In response to that email, I told them I wanted to cancel the order. Today I received an email that I can't cancel the order. I "CAN" refuse delivery, and then once it is returned to them, they will issue a refund! If it is taking over a month to get to me (AND IT STILL HASNT GOTTEN TO ME), how long will it take to be returned???????? So, 4 weeks after ordering, I MAY get a call to schedule delivery. In the meantime, they have my money, and I have nothing!!!!!!!! AND I may never get my money back, because if the sofa can't get to me, how will it get back to them??????? I am a senior citizen (in my 70s) and I consider this treatment as elder abuse and manipulation.

Delivery from hayneedle..never arrives

Dresser arrived in Charlotte, “local delivery” scheduled an appointment to deliver today from 1 to 5. At 430 I called and they said it’s almost there. At 630, 2 hrs later and an hour and a half late, I call and now it’s not on the truck and not coming today? No one answering the phone at the local terminal?? No idea where it is or when it will arrive. Never ordering again from Hayneedle.

Worst delivery

More than 4 hours late. Evening ruined. The delivery range was between 1~5pm, and so far, there's still no sign of the driver. Shame on Hayneedle for using EFW as a delivery service. You just lost a customer through your terrible partner choice. terrible .... terrible ..... {{Redacted}} Please stop using EFW. It is hurting your business.

Very Bad Experience

We ordered outdoor furniture from Hayneedle. We paid for "white glove" service expecting, as they advertised, that everything would be set up. This bogus service costs an additional $150. The furniture arrived and they had no record of our paying for set up. We showed them the receipt but they refused and dumped the boxes outside. Hayneedle eventually refunded the white glove fee. The furniture arrived damaged. Hayneedle's customer service is argumentative, belligerent and difficult. We would never consider ordering from them again. Consumers should thoroughly investigate doing business with this company before ordering. Low quality products for outdoor furniture and terrible customer service.

Product was misrepresented on site...Called for pickup and was issued FedEx return labels with one address and in email, was told to take the heavy, over-sized boxes to local (which we don't have) FedEx shipping office, as was given a different address...They never responded to my email request for address clarification, but FedEx somehow knew to pick up at my house the next day...FedEx says I should have gotten pick up number when called to pick up, but I never called. They somehow knew to come...and even though no label on, they picked up anyway. Hayneedle customer service different every email and when they seldom follow up, have obviously not read the email thread of the issue...I keep going in crazy circles! Over $1300 was charged to my credit card...They say product not received back, yet my security camera shows FedEx truck/man getting it. I guess it's still riding around on the truck looking for a home...Have asked for credit and given several different excuses. Still no refund!!!!!

I'll start off with the packing and quality of their items. I received a dining table with the box dented, and unsurprising damage to the table itself. It wasn't just a chip off the paint, it was a chops off the wood! I contact customer service regarding the damage. I was reassured I would receive a FULL refund, since the fault was on Hayneedle's end. Moreover, the chairs I had ordered to accompany the damaged table would no longer be needed, so the representative reassured me the chairs would be canceled and my card would not be charged. Disappointingly, my card was indeed charged for the chairs and it was shipped after all. It gets WORSE. They receive my return of the table, however, did not issue a FULL refund as promised. They claim to have withheld my reward points accumulated. But I also returned the chairs which I used the reward points on, hence forfeiting my reward points. Yet a full refund remains to be unissued. Moreover, the representatives who reassured me of a "Full Refund" failed to disclose any information that any amount would be deducted from my "full refund." I'm not going to hold my breath for a full refund on the chairs which they also reassured a full refund for, but you bet I will be taking these matters to my credit card company. Not only does Hayneedle fall short on delivering quality in products, but they also lack customer service. Surely in the mishap of "miscommunication" they could offer a remedy, but failed to even make the effort. As a long time customer, I will no longer be purchasing anything else from them in the future. Perhaps my absence will not impact their profit logistics, but I hope that my review will make a difference to those who are considering on doing business with them. Heed my warning and save yourself the frustration, stress, and utter disappointment in this deceptive company.
